Yeah! After going over the dimensional theory and stuff tbh his curiosity would probably get the better of him and he'd maybe want to observe some of the magic stuff/sigils going into it if you're okay with him doing that. It's a thing he doesn't know anything about so he'd be really tempted to learn what more he can.
