On the evening of June 21st, Anton will find a box on the front desk. Inside is a leather cuff bracelet with Celtic knot work imprinted into the leather. The knots form the body of a hunting wolf and it has tiny emerald jewels for eyes. With the bracelet there is a short letter written in cursive:
Fadir...there are none who deserve that name more than you and while we may not be blood, you truly possess the kindness and strength that every father should have. Thank you for all you have done and happy Father's Day.
[Anton makes no overt reply, but that day he is prone to smiling more regularly, and he wears the cuff ever after, on his off-hand, in an echo of the defensive gauntlet he used to wear in war-time.]
